Born and raised in Hamilton Ontario, Dr. Diana Nguyen earned her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University before completing her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. She has a special interest in advanced dry eye disease and has treated thousands of patients across Canada.

Additional training in Brampton enhanced her expertise in advanced dry eye disease and glaucoma management, while her University of Waterloo rotation focused on myopia control and specialty contact lens fitting. She practices full-scope optometry with a special interest in dry eyes and myopia control.

Dr. Nguyen welcomes patients of all ages and speaks Vietnamese. Dedicated to continuous learning, she stays up to date with the latest research to provide top-tier patient care. She also served as an adjunct clinical instructor, teaching fourth-year optometry students from the University of Waterloo and the Illinois College of Optometry.

Over the past 6 years, she has practiced in Ontario and Manitoba and is thrilled to settle in Vancouver with her husband. They love exploring BC’s stunning natural landscapes.
